2. When did this problem first occur?

3. Did you make any changes before the
issue happened?

4. Have you installed any new devices
without installing a driver?

5. Did the computer give you an Error
Message and if so what did the message
say?

6. Does it show that the machine is on?
Check to see if the machine is plugged in
and has been switched on. Please check
the same with the computer’s display.

7. Have you ran a Virus Sweep, or Defragged
the computer recently?

8. Did a power surge or blackout occur while
your machine was running?

9. Is your machine in a well kept
environment? Is there plenty of airflow and
are you preventing it from becoming dirty?

10. Does this problem still occur if you boot the
computer in Safe Mode?

11. Have you consulted Microsoft’s Help
database yet?
